Scott Parks and Playgrounds
The City of Scott is home to Three Parks, each is special in their own way.
Scott Park
This is our largest park in Scott located at 1030 Cormier Street Scott, LA 70583. It has nine ball fields that allow our youth of all ages to participate in games and tournaments, play ground equipment for the smaller children, a walking trail, and a concession stand. The park is overseen by the SATS, (Scott Area Team Sports) an organization consisting of mostly parents of the children that use the park. To contact SATS, call 337-235-7115 or contact City Hall at 337-233-1130.
SATS offers Baseball, Basketball, Softball, Volleyball and Football. For more information regarding sign up or becoming a sponsor feel free to visit their page.
Memramcook Park
Has been named for our Canadian Twinning City, is a bit smaller park, located on Lions Club Road, across from our beautiful City Hall. It has field for baseball, a tennis court, basketball goals, and some playground equipment for the younger children.
Saint Aubin Park
Was also named for our French Twinning City, is the smallest park located near the south end Alfred Street, railroad crossings of Saint Mary Street, and Cayret Street. It is the center of our historical area of our city. It is used mostly for parking or sometimes for our Mardi Gras Parade and celebrations.
